Sweet September

September opens up planting opportunities once again.

After two or three months of dry cutting back after a good soak the earth is ready for planting once again.

This September has been wet, which is great for planting. The soil is still warm and receptive to a spade or trowel, which means good planting!

In this small corner of this massive garden we are completing and continuing a small hedging line of Euonymous Japonicus Green Spire and planting Iris, Kniphophia and Geranium for interest next year. Filling empty spaces where weeds will grow with useful planting.
