A garden always needs a journey, and a destination. A pergola can act as that destination. In this small garden this is the destination – a place to relax and enjoy the garden, the plants and one another’s company.
I built this pergola from scratch and laid the slate base, planted up a back border of evergreen planting, grasses and hardy perennials which will delight the homeowner year after year. Creating a green backdrop to the seating area and softening the space considerably.
