Peddars Barn – Big Build – Part 5

Perfect May, warm weather, but very very dry.

This May is very very dry, not a drop of rain since late March.

This is a dry spring, and the plants need moisture. Happily we mulched these beds well in the Autumn and Winter, so moisture is locked in to the soil. Planting continues on here in May, adding late flowering perennials and annuals such as Cosmos for added impact to come in summer.

The garden is coming together, looking beautiful now, as plants bud up, ready to explode into colour, the anticipation builds!
