Dry Design

A dry, hot, sun beaten strip needed refreshing, the right planting should do the trick.

Right plant right place, is the first rule of good garden design. Using a bank of knowledge about knowing what plant will live best where is essential for this project.

This is a hot, South facing slim bed. Limited water, maximum heat, so the planting needs to tolerate drout and dry.

My stars of the show were – Bearded Iris, Artemesia, Nepita Catmint, Verbena Bonariensis, Achillea and Salvia. All lovers of dry heat conditions, so hopefully in a few months these will thrive, I cannot wait to see the results.
