A project in the making for the past year, we finally found a solution for this tricky part of the garden.
This area of this property was laid to gravel, making it awkward, tricky and a bustle to get through. As the main entrance point to the back garden this space needed a function. How could it be functional and yet beautiful?
The space had two eclectically shaped triangular beds, so we thought to base the design of this Courtyard area around those. Creating a large diamond/square in the centre of the space, with smaller paths either side, creating smooth access from front to back.
A neat solution to a tricky problem and one we worked with the client on, with multiple revisions to our thinking. With this neat block pave, we create a functional space and a space to stop and enjoy planting (which is the next stage of the project)
