Small Space. Big Change.

Front Gardens are often overlooked places in the UK. Yet these are places that we can use to beautify our neighbourhoods and invite pollinators in!

This project is a perfect example of what can be done with an unused empty patch of grass at the front of your property. A new build property, in an urban area, we worked with the client to decide how best to use the space.

The client primarily used the front lawn as a route to get to the back gate, which in turn wore the grass out. So we decided to add a pathway. We then thought – if we have another dry spell this Spring/Summer, then the grass becomes a husk. How could we make the garden usable, beautiful and invite pollinating insects in?

Planted up with blooms which will delight through the summer and that are drout tolerant will keep this garden thriving even through the hottest of summers. Easy to manage and beautiful to look at, this is how to make use of your dead front lawn grass, even on the smallest of properties.
